Why can't LeBron win without two stars beside him?
Kobe did it with one.
Kawhi arguably did it with none.
Dirk did it with none.
Curry did it with one.
Hakeem did it with zero and then one.
MJ did it with one.
Bird did it with one.
Etc.
Real all time greats can win titles with zero or one star next to them.
Re: Why can't LeBron win without two stars beside him?
Because LeBron is just not that good.

Due to Bran ball.
He needs third stars for a security blanket for his fragile mentality.
Bosh is one of the greatest pick and roll defending bigs ever.
Way to marginalize them; par for course for a Bransvestite.

You need more stars to compensate for Lebron ball. Lebron ball doesn't scale up the way you would imagine when you add more talent, because the talent has to sacrifice their style of play to play in the Lebron system. So one has to stack the deck.
For example, on paper Lebron + Wade + Bosh = a talent level of 77 win per season and not one or two, but eight titles in a row. But in practice the other superstars don't get to play at their full potential. You're only getting a fraction of their talent.
It doesn't scale properly.
It also helps playing in a very weak East. It gives the Lebron led teams with multiple stars get to the Finals and be put in a position of getting a couple of lucky bounces here and there, and escape with a couple extra rings.
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good, but you can't always depend on luck to win every year. And that perfectly sums up the result of Lebron ball + multiple stars.
