"Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
If you take away Michael Jordan's godlike midrange and post game, what you get is Russell Westbrook.
True.
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
also take away 3 inches of height and several IQ points
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
Westbrook is a 454 V8, MJ is an Italian sports car.
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
Also take away the fact that he wasn't responsible for his fathers death and likely has a larger dick.
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
-2 inches height, +2 inches length
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
Wtf is this stupid shit? Take away a players strengths and you get left with a lesser player? Unbelievable. Take away Kyle Korver's jump shot and you get left with some tall white dude who no one has heard of.
Re: "Take away Michael Jordan's midrange game and post game, and you get Westbrook"
and also take away juggernaugt defensive abilities...
I would like Westbrook but I think his game is not what the basketball should be... Kids got wrong idea watching MJ play, They are going to get even more so watching Westbrook.

Like another poster said, even though MJ played guard and he could handle the ball as well as anyone, what made him unique is that he finished like a big man around the rim, and had a big man-type dunking and finishing style, as shown in the GIF.. and MJ was one of those few wing players in history that dunked as often as a big man.
We have dunk stats from the 80's and 90's from old Philadelpia 76'er media guides, and the only 1st option wing players that routinely get over 100 dunks per season have been MJ, Dr. J, Wade, Lebron, Durant, Dominique and Drexler.
Guys like Kobe, Tmac, Westbrook and Paul George get literally half the number of dunks each season because they don't combine their style and hops with enough power and/or skill.. Jordan's dunks over David Robinson are a great example of his big-man type power and style combined with guard-like quickness.
