Nene back in action for Wizards

Wizards forward Nene was eased back into action in his return from a sprained MCL Wednesday, playing 17 minutes in a 94-88 loss to the Bobcats in overtime.

In his first action after missing 21 games, Nene played 17 minutes off the bench. He played a solid role offensively, scoring 10 points on 5 of 9 shooting, though he did little else, finishing with just one assist and one steal in his limited playing time.

Nene has appeared in 50 games this season, and will likely be eased back over the team's last few. He is averaging 14.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game on the season.
