Michael Jordan married his girlfriend of five years, Yvette Prieto, Saturday in a jaw-dropping 40,000 square foot tent.
According to local realtors Jeff and Cary Lichtenstein, the couple's venue is the "largest tent in wedding history," and is actually 5,000 square feet larger than their home.
Over/under on how long this lasts? I give it 3 years.

One more ring for Lebron to chase after.
Re: Jordan gets married under huge tent
Damn, they managed to create tent larger than MJ's pants:lebronamazed:

Haha nice.
But not if he's smart..
IMHO professional athletes are best off not getting married.
Especially when Jordan has already paid $168mill and counting for his last marriage..

Re: Jordan gets married under huge tent
I don't understand why rich/famous guys get married. They have all the leverage in the world when it comes to relationships but fail to use it. It's not like she's going to leave a guy worth $500 million so why bother marrying?
Re: Jordan gets married under huge tent
this marriage will cost him $1 mil per year every year the marriage stays in-tact. So not much for him to lose really..
as long as he's happy, don't see why not.
as long as he's tapping a younger super hot girl for the rest of his life or until he finds a younger hotter one, don't see why not.
Fixed. :coleman:

Man, you are really seeing d*cks in everything. Your dreams are getting out of hand:coleman:
I guess that when your mother asks you if you want new pants, you curse her for wanting your d*ck when you are in fact gay:lol

what does he get out of being married to her?
what does he get out of being married to her?
Who knows? he just wants to settle down and have a stable life? Having a real woman in his life instead of just whores coming in and out?
Maybe he really does love her and want to commit? He is the one that proposed anyway. The least we can say is that it makes him happy.

Why would any guy with $500 million want to settle down and have a stable life?? It just seems so insane to me. However, I wish him well.

Because he's been a $500 million guy for over.. 20 years now? I don't think money is a huge concern to him now.. and there's pretty much nothing else in this world he can't get with his money. So I guess he's focusing on the other things he can't buy with money.
I'm not a millionaire.. but hey.. I think it'll also get tiring after a while right? After buying everything you want, a huge ass home, what more can you do with your money? It's all emptiness if you don't have family and close relationships to share your success and wealth with, that's something I believe.
I mean, if you're talking about a guy in his 20's and getting married, then yea, you're right to ask that question. But for a guy in his 50's? I dont think it's that surprising he wants to settle down.
