Re: ESPN Los Angeles : "Nobody wants to play with Kobe"
His peak years?
Pretty much.
And who cares if he was on a talented team when he was 19 years old.
He was a 3rd ALL NBA team in 2005, and he's a big part of the reason that his team was garbage those years. His chucking during the previous year's finals on a stacked team with Shaq, Malone, Payton, Fox and Fisher didn't do him any favors. Alienating the entire team and/or running them out of LA is the reasom he was left with the team he had.
Of course, he couldn't get out of the first round during any of those years (2005-2007) .
Re: ESPN Los Angeles : "Nobody wants to play with Kobe"
Those 06 & 07 teams win 10 games without Kobe..
Kobe has won multiple rings with multiple different line ups.
Kobe has won all of his rings with only 1 all star.
Bran gets 2 all stas around him for 4 straight years and was barely able to replicate what an old broken down Kobe did with Pau freaking Gasol.
That's what happens when you've had to carry your team for your first 11yrs in the league. You get tired playing both ends of the floor and THEN playing in 4 straight Finals
Kobe wouldn't know anything about that. He rode the pine his first 2yrs and cried for help after having to do it on his own for a few years.
Gasol > Big Z, Joel Anthony, Chris Andersen and Udonis Haslem.
If James demands to play for Spurs only his rookie year....8 titles. Instead he did what other greats did before him, sign with bad teams they were drafted by. Not demand to play for a team who was 30 games over .500 the year before and had won the 2nd most titles in NBA history.

I wouldn't say assembling a team of D-Wade and Chris Bosh is a bad team. He couldn't do it in Cleveland so he went to Miami.
