it's a bold prediction, but this team showed us tonight how deadly it can be offensively when everything is clicking

They can't make it click consistently in a 7 game series. No Finals appearance for them.
How can you win a series when you cant win away from home?

guess we'll have to rely on HCA and our guards shooting lights out then

How about defense?
I predict it will be OKC-MIA
How about defense?
or coaching
or the bench
or the lack of frontcourt depth
What are we on now, overreaction thread #10?...
They'll have a shot. You look at OKC, Denver, Lakers and Dallas the Clippers can certainly play with all of those teams. I still think they're probably a second round out, but we might get some crazy upset this year with how the season is different.
My wild prediction is actually Chicago getting upset in the second round, but the West might actually be more likely to give us the drama.
They certainly have a shot, there isn't a clear standout team out west. Thunder may look like the best team but Clips would certainly give them problems in a 7 game series.
All I want is the Lakers and Clippers in a WCF series.
It's possible. If the Clips were in the East, they'd have no shot. There aren't any defensive powerhouses out west, so the Clippers can get hot and get an upset. The only problem is that most teams that make it to the Finals are elite road teams, and the Clips seem average at best on the road.

The one thing that looks to be the Thunder's big weakness is the lack of inside scoring. Griffin, even with his weaknesses, does give the Clippers an inside threat.
I would probably favor the Clippers in a series against the Lakers or the Nuggets. If they can beat either of those teams then they plausibly could have a shot at the WCF.

i think alot depends on Harden for them. You only have to look at last nights game. Durant had 36, Westbrook had 31 both on good % and still lost. the same happened vs the Wizards. Both scored over 30 each and lost. if guys like harden do have games of 7-10 points then chances are they could lose...Harden is their x factor he needs to give them 15-17 a game otherwise they may not have enough offense due to the lack of offense as you say with their bigs.
I think they will win 1 series!
which is still way better than they've been doing recently so, not bad I guess.
