I was hoping he would suck it up, be patient, and ride out the tough times and allow the Heat to reload instead of jumping ship at the first sign of trouble.
Disappointing

i myself would like lebron if he goes back to Cleveland. thanks
he's staying, no incentive in opting in with his current deal.
Thats easy to say when it isnt your decision... and fyi he still hasnt decided to stay or leave yet.
We all knew he'd opt out so the timing of your thread is just......
Who knows? He could be opting for less money, to better thr Heat
or to go to another team.
That is why he has gotten a lot of "hate" since 2010.
I think sports fans as a whole would soften on the way they perceive him if he returned to cleavland

Same.
But if he goes to Chicago, Cavs, Knicks, Houston, Mavs
His hate is gonna grow by 1000000x

right now i think the better perception would be if he stayed, more than going back to cle actually
Just smart.
He's putting pressure on the Heat and if he doesn't like what he sees...he can leave.
Nobody ultimately is going to care.
He'll get more hate for losing than running to a better team and winning.
It's just obvious. If Lebron had played on the Cavs the last 4 years and never won a title...he'd be far lower on all time rankings..etc.
If Lebron goes somewhere and wins...nobody will ultimately care in a way that hurts more than losing.
I doubt he leaves...still don't see why he would unless Wade and Bosh refuse to take paycuts because then the Heat really have no chance to win.
