Again a decent debate can be had when liberals stop accusing the other side of being racist, homophobes etc and the far right stop accusing the other side of being socialists, traitors, etc.

I disagree with Van Jones' opinions but appreciate how he presents his arguments. He is one of the few CNN people I have any respect for.

Trolling or not they were spot on regarding voter I.D. laws.
I've always maintained that if you need photo I.D. to purchase alcohol or cigarettes, drive a car, open a bank account or enter a club how is it unreasonable to ask someone to produce I.D. in order to vote?
That is not an onerous request and if people are too lazy or too disorganized to be able to demonstrate that they are who they say they are when they vote thats their problem.
