Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Hello.. Wake the F@ck up.. Listen I have seen Jordan throughout his career and I know how Great he is but Lebron is bigger, Stronger and Just as Fast and Athletic. Am I saying Lebron could beat Prime Jordan every time no, but it would probably be 50/50 at least. This Lebron can shoot over him Consistently and back U down or Bull his way past ya. Jordan would have to Rely alot more on that Fadeaway to create Space on the Bigger Longer Lebron. Anyway real point is Media is running out of things to criticize Lebron about so not have to knock him i Imaginary one v one games and not competing in the dunk contest.

Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
MJ would beat LJ 10 out of 10 times in the dunk contest.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
:oldlol: That is just ridiculous. Not even gonna get into this, but if people actually think Jordan would beat Lebron 100% of the time :facepalm
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Lebron would post up Jordan all day and overpower him.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
100% is quite laughable but MJ would win 8 probably. You guys don't understand that when Jordan refuses to lose, he will not lose.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Jordan would win 7 out of 10. He is definitely a better 1v1 player than Bron. His post moves alone are mind boggling and he did different stuff everytime.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
MJ turnin 50, LeBron playing out of his mind. This shit ain't goin to stop :oldlol:
The Media mang! the media!

Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Do any of you guys remember when Jordan lost a 1 on 1 game to Michael Finley back in the day?

I agree, MJ beats LBJ 9/10.
Just the superior player:confusedshrug:

Do you remember when Jason Terry punked Bron in the Finals? Or when an unknown kid dunked on Bron so bad he had his posse confiscate the evidence?
Thought so.

I don't remember Jason Terry "punking" Lebron James in the Finals. Can you elaborate on what you mean by "punking" him? I remember the kid dunking on Lebron. I don't really care how bad the dunk was. It happens when you play with athletes. I still don't understand why they made such a big deal about it. I don't know what you meant by "thought so".

Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Kobe says that he and Jordan are the best one on one player of all time, and that Lebron is a more of a Magic Johnson type of player and has no chance against him one on one. They're looking at it in the one on one concept.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Look, MJ is not Kobe. He is a stronger, faster version of him. Just like what MJ said when he was asked about playing Kobe 1v1, "I would have a better chance of stopping him than he would have stopping me." Same thing goes for MJ vs LBJ.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
People love to act like old times were better. Talk to older people like Magic and Skip and they will think everything in their time was better. LeBron would be Jordan 7 out of 10. LeBron is too big and strong.

Kobe Still thinks he Could beat Lebron Now one v 1 or at least tells Media I think Lebron would beat if not Destroy Kobe one v 1..Since Kobe is the Closest thing to Jordan Tells me Lebron would at least hang in there with Jordan.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
MJ would win 8 or 9 times out of 10. Like above poster said, MJ refuses to lose. He would get physical with Bron and wouldn't allow him to just back him down in the paint.
Offensively, with a whole court to himself MJ's first step, quickness, and handles would be tough for Lebron to handle. MJ would get up a lot of midrange shots.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
MJ would probably win like 7 times out of 10.
But that obviously has nothing to do with 5 on 5 basketball, where passing, help defense, defensive versatility, and rebounding (there's obviously rebounding in one on one but it's different) come into play.
And passing, help defense, defensive versatility, and rebounding are three areas where Lebron wins over MJ.
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
If a 34 year old Kobe Bryant can still put up a fight against Lebron and Wade, what in the blue hell makes you think a PRIME Jordan couldn't beat Lebron 1 on 1???
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Jordan would humiliate Lebron in a fashion even I wouldn't approve
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Unless you played with some Jordan-friendly rules that state no backing down allowed LeBron wins EVERY game. He's 6'9" 250-260lbs. Jordan at his biggest was 6'6" 220lbs.

Lebron doesn't have better defensive versatility. In MJ's DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD year, he was playing passing lanes, best perimiter man to man defense in the history of the NBA, and could come from the weak side and block the shit outta the ball.
Tell me exactly what Lebron does better than Jordan on the defensive end? He's too big, and doesn't have the foot coordination of a Jordan to be as elite as him, on a 1 on 1 defensive basis.
When Jordan was called upon to assume Lebron's position, ball dominant distributor, he posted up better numbers than Lebron could ever dream of. When Lebron tried to play off ball like MJ, oh wait, he tried that, and it failed miserably. LBJ HAS TO BE BALL DOMINANT in order to be successful. He has no clue what he's doing off the ball, besides an alley oop, here and there.
You just fail.

Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
MJ should swallow his pride and take on the king 1on1 this all-star weekend. maybe best out of 3? if mj could take at least one @50, i'm pretty sure that this convo would be squashed.

Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
Anytime someone agrees with Skip Bayless about anything, they lose all credibility. I don't care if Skip Bayless brought up the wiki page proving that grass is green, he is still wrong that is how wrong Skip Bayless always is.
Besides MJ already said LeBron is better than he is.

James is a better help defender than Jordan?
Rebounding is down more to position. Per position, Lebron is not a better rebounder than Michael is.

Your a Jordan/ Bulls homer so your just a tad biased. The fact that people even compare or talk Lebron in same sentence as Jordan shows how Elite Lebron is and his career is probably half over. Lets revisit this topic 5 years from now I bet a lot of people who didn't give Lebron chance will say something different if Lebron wins a few more championships and MVPs

Who the **** cares about 1v1?
-
Re: Magic and Skip say Jordan would beat Lebron 10 out of 10 one v one
It would be a stalemate. Whenever LeBron gets the ball, he'd just dribble around forever because he'd never be able to get a high percentage look against MJ's defense to justify jeopardizing his FG%.

Yes he does. Defensive versatility = ability to guard multiple positions. Lebron has defended (and has been successful) guarding players from Derrick Rose to Pau Gasol. MJ would not be able to guard Pau Gasol near the basket. GTFOH.
Lebron's defensive versatility is matched by only a few players...Dennis Rodman is one. I can't even think of another. Maybe Pippen.

Ummm....he gaurded Pau Gasol for like 3 possessions. The ability to guard a player for a few possesions don't necessarily mean you can guard that position.
Tell me when he consistently guards the opposing team's big men. HE HASN'T.
That's the biggest myth that BSPN has put out there.
Yes, technically he can guard all 5 positions, but that doesn't mean he's effective at it.
Magic Johnson played center for a game in the Finals. Does that make him one of the great centers of all time?
Floyd Mayweather can fight the Klitschko brothers, does it mean he'll be effective?
Edit: Rodman and Pippen are MUCH better defenders than Lebron.
:biggums: :wtf: :facepalm
