No hype here?
The game is going to come out tomorrow and I'm sure Bethesda will deliver, so I'm going to pick up a copy. So excited to dive into the world of FO again. Any other Ishers gonna play?

I think there's already another thread, but whatever.
Waiting for Christmas to get this. Black Ops III and Battlefront will take up my gaming this month, and I still want to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas before this, got both their GotY/Ultimate versions for free on Steam recently.
It's getting pretty great reviews so far though. 9.5/10 on IGN, and 9/10 on GameSpot.
Main positives are story and characters, its dense world and variety of quests. There's some bugs and glitches though apparently, but that's the only real complaint I've heard.
Getting good reviews but has some gamebreaking bugs. Needs a patch I think.
Honestly not a huge fan of their games, i know i'm probably the only one, played Fallout & Skyrim, tried to get into them, but they just ain't my type of games. I contribute it to my lack of gaming time available.
I like to get in, get shit done and get out, where they are more explore and lose yourself in the world.
Gonna hang out here though to check fellow ISH gamers reactions
I'm hyped. But I have almost no time to play right now. I might get it in December after graduation when I should have more time.
I've been waiting for a game like this to take over my life for the PS4.
Never played Fallout before, so this is gonna be a new experience for me.
Never played it either. I don't even know what df it is. It's free roam?

I yahoo
i have only been able to play for about an hour, but so far it seems great. i was a little worried it wouldnt run well on my comp since i have a pretty old gpu and the game isnt supposed to be well optimised for amd cards, but it runs flawlessly so far.
So why is it games like this with a rep get a pass for gamebreaking bugs, while others get scored down?
I've never understood the appeal of Fallout. I played 3, and found it clunky and quite sluggish. I know there is a lot to do but I don't particularly think that and a whole bunch of customisations for weapons deserves as high praise as it gets.

Because Open world games get a pass for everything
Sprinkle a plethora of low quality content, a vast landscape and call it open world and suddenly it can do no wrong
It wouldn't be a Bethesda game without it :lol
I'm gonna hold off until the mods come out though. I'm sure there will be a 1GB fan made patch to fix everything as well.
they patched the game breaking issue on the first night I read.

It's so true though
How many open world games you see get shit reviews?
Not many
MGS5 has an incomplete, shit hole of a story? So how did it get perfect 10's? Open world.
