Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
Lebron drives for a layup. West hits him on the chest. Another defender hits him on the head. NO CALL!
Next play, phantom foul given to Paul George. He gets 3fts and a chance to take the lead. :facepalm
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
I think there were 2 out of bounds calls that went undeservedly in Miami's favor in the last 6 minutes of regulation. Shut your mongoloid mouth
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
No, they weren't. James didn't even get touched on the head, watch that play again. He was just whining to the refs like usual. Miami is Flop City anyways. They deserved to be screwed after all of that flopping last night.

Refs did not try to screw Miami.

The fix was in, but Lebron overcame the refs with his indomitable will.

What about Bosh pushing Hibbert resulting in a massive 3 point play? Forget which Pacer it was but Battier pushed him to the ground and HE was the one who got FT's.
Miami throws the ball out of bounds, it clearly doesn't touch West and they say it's Miami ball without even reviewing it. Get real. There were debatable calls for both teams last night and hopefully that continues because it makes for a more entertaining game than one team getting everything.
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
heat fans complaining about the refs? how ironic
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
Refs killed the game on both sides, Wade didn't even touch P.george and the whistled for a foul. (he did foul him but on the floor).
i hope ish understands that call could've been the deciding factor for the game if lebron didn't hit the buzzer beater.

where the hell are you guys pulling this from? did you watch a different game to the rest of us? Wade CLEARLY, C-L-E-A-R-L-Y makes contact with his elbow. No questions no argument.
the game was called fairly for once, yeah there was a few bad calls both ways (2 major possessions given to the heat when they touched it last out of bounds if we're counting) but that's usual and acceptable. I do like that the refs were actually trying to call offensive fouls and time in the paint though. It annoys me when they just ignore rules.

Yeah, I was gonna act like that.

Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
David stern: Yea.. Uh.. I'm gonna have you guys rig this one for the Pacers tonight. Make it look good though. I don't want to have to come down there.
Head ref: um.. You do realize their best player is Paul George sir? lol
Stern: What's so goddamm funny about that?
Ref: well he's barely a 20 ppg player sir. I dont-
Stern: go Fvcking get him right now
Ref: Wait what's going on?! No!

David West slapped him and no call.
Also, from this cam angle you cant see the slap, but yesterday, from another camera angle, i saw hill hitting on the head.

Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
officiating was not biased at all in yesterday's game. I hate NBA fans who cry "refball" after every game.
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
You know Wade is no longer a superstar when the refs call a foul on him with the game on the line (a 3pointer no less)!
2006 Wade would have never been called for that foul. RIP Wade :(

some games have horrible, horrible calls going in stars favour. This play offs I haven't really seen that. To be honest I was expecting lots of tic tac calls on the pacers while the heat got away with it but it was actually called pretty evenly and as a result it was one of the best play off games in a long time. You always get some bad calls but there wasn't one team getting blatant calls over and over again. Heat fans are just used to preferential treatment for their stars and so get mad when they get normal calls for once.

It suits your team and will do so for the next few years, why would you have a problem with it
Listen, I hate having to complain about reffing personally. I just have a hard time not saying something when I can clearly see what's going on...
Birdman goes up to the hoop and hibbert goes to block it making no contact. 4th foul on hibbert in the 3rd quarter
It wouldnt matter what people said on here, Heat fans would never admit to any bias from the refs.
The Wade call was 50/50, I had a hard time seeing it properly, but it looks like he got a bit of elbow and hand. I would of been happy if they didnt call that.

Wade no longer commands special treatment from the refs because he's really not that special these days.

They were definitely Miami ball.
Lets not talk about Wade being called for 5 seconds backing down, when he had posted up for 2 seconds.
Lets not mention Paul George getting 3 SHOTS in the ECF with 2 seconds left in OT when there was no foul. (Nor the fact he flopped out his arm in the opposite direction when it happened - IMAGINE IF LEBRON DID IT).
What about Lebron getting his second in the 1st quarter on an offensive foul for incidental contact just driving past George?
There were many calls against Miami last night.

The one where the ball clearly comes off Birdman's hand last? Not west...
I saw a few where it looked like it was out olff Miami, but no replay was shown...
Why would the Lebron call matter and was that a significant point in the game? Like, how many times does he get fouled out in a game...Never.
When you can see a potential momentum swing in a game or a vital point of the game, you can see all the calls go against Indiana, whether its a no call or a foul. If you don't believe me, have a look at Vogel and the bench face's after some of the calls out there...Complete shock and amazement.
Anyways, why are you playing the devil's advocate? Does there always have to be the token "neutral guy" who comes on here and sticks up for the Heat?
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
2 fouls in the first quarter to your best player affects the game.
I honestly believe the Heat are a tier above the Pacers, and should win in 4 or 5 games, and some key referee decisions last night really evened up the contest.

My team is spurs so i don't care what you think. You are clearly a heat hater more than you are a bulls fan. Whenver i try to have a good debate with you, you act like you are some saint who can't be wrong.
You clearly have an anti-heat agenda and it is not based on how they play the game. You always talk about bulls like bulls front office chose the most innocent players in NBA and got them to play for them.
I hated heat in 2011 and even in 2012 when they won the title because they weren't playing the type of basketball i like. You hate them for other reasons.

No, they didn't.
You are delusional and doing your absolute best to give the Pacers no credit for nearly escaping with a win.
I will brook no argument on this because this is the same thing that was done after Game 1 against Chicago, chapter and verse. Heatstans do this constantly.

I am just a mature enough to treat sports like sports should be treated. You guys act like Apple and Samsung lovers who can't give any compliment to the other company for doing anything good.
I hated heat because they weren't playing to their potential in 2011 and even in 2012 and i just didn't like lebron at all on the court as i could see he was doubting himself. I still don't like off the court lebron but i don't let that thing make me hate him as a basketball player.
I was a little biased in 2012 playoffs though as i wanted a Celtics- Spurs finals because i thought it was the last year for big 3 in Boston and wanted them to at least get to the finals. After OKC won in WCF, i wanted boston to win it all.
in 2011, i wanted bulls to win it after spurs got eliminated just because i like seeing young guys like Rose to win things.
This was one the reasons i became a spurs fan because duncan was drafted and i really wanted a talented young guy like him to win things. Their play style, coach and front office was a bonus.
I have been a spurs fan because when you think of spurs, you think of team basketball and heat are playing team basketball like spurs.

Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
The OP is wrong. The refs did a poor job for both sides. All of you act like your team are saints and the Heat are the big bad evil floppers that Stern wants to win 10+ championships. It's ironic really. You people whine about the refs more than Heat fans. We get the same calls as super stars have always gotten. We also get the benefit of bad calls like many teams do when the refs are doing a poor job. You nit pick every fvcking call as being rigged for Miami. LeBron could get hit in the head, and nobody will have a problem. As soon as they draw a foul on a Pacers player, the whole NBA is rigged.
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
That last foul on Wade is something that shouldn't be called he's barely an All-Star?
That last call was BS.
-
Re: Are we gonna act like the refs didnt try to screw Miami last night
The call on Wade was pretty weak. Even if there was minimal contact the refs usually won't bail out the shooter in that situation. Other that I though the officiating was equally shaky for both sides.

How can you make a conclusive statement that he didn't get hit when you don't have the proper angle.
Another point. How does Lebron somehow make up the contact in the exact place where we are disputing whether Hill hit him or not. Lebron has no idea where the hand swiped considering he is in front of Hill at that point and his eyes are straight forward. Are you saying Lebron is simply a master of guessing?
Point is, you have no angle, Lebron claims to be hit on the head at the exact point of swipe by Hill despite not seeing any of Hill. I'm gonna say he got hit.
