Lebron is actually in the lead now.
It's funny. 3 years ago no one on here would be rooting for lebron. Seems like you were all wrong and coming to Miami was the best thing for him to do. He's certainly turned the lot of you around and has gained more supporters now that he's winning.
Of course it was the best thing for him to do.
People hated cause it would and did hurt the league. Also destroyed competitive balance.

Durant has Westbrook to thank for this...

The competitive balance was already ****ed with Boston dominating the east. And ppl were saying he hurt his career/legacy. **** no he didn't. His brand is better than ever.

I think who has HCA will help decide things. If Miami manage to overtake Indy then I think Lebron may take it.

Deuxrant has Westbrook to thank for making his career relevant. Before Westbrook showed up, Durant was leading his team to records of .250 and .280

Re: Has the tide closed on the MVP race, is Durant losing the MVP to Lebron?
People won't give Lebron the MVP when they'll get tired and bored of it, just like with MJ
Re: Has the tide closed on the MVP race, is Durant losing the MVP to Lebron?
I thought LeBron fans didn't care about MVPs anymore, only rings?
Re: Has the tide closed on the MVP race, is Durant losing the MVP to Lebron?
durant's streak came at a time when his team was the third seed in the west. he almost single-handily sky-rocketed his team to the best record in the nba (and embarrassed bran and the heat during that run too) where his team remains as the top team in the nba at this point in time.
it'll go to whoever has the best record there's no two ways about it.

:facepalm
They joined the league one year apart.
Durant was a rookie on a very inexperienced team. Great job putting things into perspective. :hammerhead:
