This is easy: playoff performances.
Dirk has five postseasons with a PER above 26.
Malone has zero.

Yet Malone's 97 & 98 Finals numbers shit on Dirk's 06 & 11 Finals....

Re:
It's not just that Malone lost twice to Jordan's Bulls, it's that he came up smaller than mini-me every time his team really needed him to step up!
Misses 2 free throws at the end of game 1 of the 97 Finals, allowing Jordan to hit the game winning buzzer beater. Get's stripped at the end of game 6 of the 98 Finals, allowing Jordan to hit the game winner. :facepalm Can you imagine the reaction if that was Lebron in the place of Malone? :lol Yet for some reason people always wanna give Malone a pass for his epic fck ups.
It wasn't just those 2 bad moments I listed either, as in those two Finals series against Jordan Malone only had about 2 good games. :confusedshrug:

So 23.8 ppg / 10.3 apg @48.5 TS% (Malone 97 finals) "shits on" 22.8/10.8 @53.0 TS% (Dirk 2006)?
And 25/10.5 @55.3 TS% (Malone 98) "shits on" 26.0/9.7 @ 53.7 TS% (Dirk 2011)?
Yeah, right.

Re:
what about the 16 times nowitzki choked in the playoffs?
so losing in the playoffs = choking?
i guess dirk averaging 35/12/4 on 53/39/92% vs a better denver team is choking, huh?
