The only way you get these players to stop flopping is to threaten suspension because that's REAL money coming out of their pockets. 3 strikes and you're on the bench for a game without pay. That'll make any player think twice before taking a dive.

Damn. That's CP3 level flopping.
its not the amount that will hurt the floppers. we all know the can afford it. its the reputation of being a flopper that will eventually hurt the floppers the most. When the NBA officially recognizes you as a repetitive flopper, the refs begin to take notice and then the next time they flops, the refs wont fall for it.
My point was to eventually have irritatingly high fine totals.
Just spewing out numbers, but start at 25%, then 50%, then 100%, then 200%, then maintain at 200% fine and also suspend a game.
My "logic" is that over-punishing will very quickly end the practice. The reward can not be higher than the risk, or else it will also be worthwhile to attempt.
What's hilarious is I just watched the clip, and it wasn't even the flop I thought he was going to fined for. I agree with including a game suspension after 3-5 flops. You have to include team penalties in order to stop these guys from blatantly flopping.
Only $5000? Oh no, looks like he wont be able to tip all the strippers in the strip club this week.

Damn talk about racism....where all the white dudes at? :oldlol: :oldlol:
That's his second one already this year isn't it?
I'd like to see a special segment on every episode of sportscenter just playing the flops over and over with a commentary. Humiliate them. That would be worse than fining them.

This is a good idea, sadly most of the media are ******* and dont want to upset the players, owners, commisioner or whatever...

I wish that were the case. Harden straight up runs into people during his drives and feasts on the foul line. The calls he gets consistently, even though he's a known flopper, will probably stay about the same.
Pathetic play from a pathetic player. No surprise here.
