Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
It'd hurt his argument, although Shaq's '06 ring is arguably one of the 3-4 least impressive title campaigns by a top 10 player of all time
True, but he still put up like 18/10 in the playoffs.

Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
LOL what? Great 20/10 regular season
And in the finals turned into more of a defensive stopper with GOAT intangibles in the finals. Neutralized Dallas's bigs, while commanding pressure in the post so that Wade had less defensive pressure

True, but he still put up like 18/10 in the playoffs.
Lol, I'm not saying he didn't play well, but compared to the high standards of a top 10 player, how many of their title runs were "worse" than Shaq's? '88 Kareem, maybe '00 Kobe or '14 Duncan

True, can't disagree with that. Shaq, Kobe, and, Duncan all had some cringe worthy level 'championships' this era.

And they all had more championships this era than LeBron as well

Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
LOL, missing the playoffs the last 4 years of his career. Not a good way to go out.
Reinforces the whole "Kobe wasnt shit without Shaq or Gasol" Kobe drops a few spots all time, shows he needs elite big men to be successful
No Shaq/Gasol
2005 - miss playoffs
2006- lose 1st round
2007- lose 1st round
2015- lottery
2016- lottery
top 15-20 all-time
Shaq and Gasol were on 2 totally different teams but you want to analyze Kobe's career without either??? If that's the case then I guess nobody is great in the nba
Secondly Kobe wasn't just missing Shaq when he got traded, he was missing Rick fox, Gary payton, Karl malone, Derek fisher, the new starting forward Devean George missed 63 games, the Shaq replacement Vlade Divac missed 63 games, and let's not forget the retirement of Phil Jackson soooooo maybe it's safe to say he lost a little bit more than Shaq
And to make it even crazier him and Lamar Odom got injured that year at different times so they only played half a season together but yet was still in the playoffs at the time of the allstar break lol.
Last thing they made the playoffs in 2013 (last relatively healthy year) and they missed it the 2 years he was injured so even if they miss in 2016 that's 3 years of missed playoffs not 4 buddy

Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
Lebron has not win a single NBA finals game with Wade's presence in court.
-
Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
You can add jimmy b to the list.
It's not all laker fans, just the retarded few who think every player wants to be a laker.

Re: What happened to Jordan, Love, Gasol, Aldrige, Wade to Lakers?
i doubt kobes crying. he has a top 5-6 all time resume. hes finished
even with aldridge and some good role players i'd give the lakers a 20% chance at making the playoffs
and then theres backlash if they lose.
with the current lineup kobe can cake walk into retirement without any haters
Thats your thinking though. You're under the assumption Kobe wants to have an excuse for his final years of failure. Im sure because he's so competitive and loves the game so much he wants a final run and make the playoffs.
