Warriors Talk - What was the front office thinking getting Oubre?

The main NBA forum is full of crap when it comes to the Warriors so I thought I'd see if somewhat more serious conversation could be had here.

Topic: Why did the front office acquire Oubre?

When I first heard of the move I didn't have an opinion. I didn't know anything about Oubre. But now having witnessed an historic shooting low from him, I'm wondering what on earth Myers was thinking? Looking at it now the team would have been better off just keeping Alec Burks who makes less than half what Oubre does. Doesn't make much sense either letting go of Burks when he had an entire year to train under Kerr and learn the system. The Warriors have been wasting their time letting go of players they spent time training. It's idiotic.
