During the 1960s a better than average forward was Bob Boozer, he played for the Cincy Royal, Bulls and Knix. Is he related to Carlos? perhaps an uncle or grandfather? Does anyone know?

He was 22/10 one year and was the first overall pick in the 1959 draft.
No, I don't see them on this list.

Nice list, it should also include the WNBA, e.g Karl Malone's daughter and 1 or 2 others
They are not related, from what I can gather. Wikipedia has Carlos born on a military base in W. Germany and growing up in Alaska, and there is no mention of a relationship to Bob Boozer.
Bob Boozer also got to play on the Bucks championship team with Jabbar and his old teammate, the Big O.
I had forgotten about him, but must have seen him play against the Knicks at certain times. When I checked on his stats I was surprised at how consistent he was over the years. Glad to see/remember that he got that ring with the Bucks.
Just rec'd an e-mail answer from the Utah Jazz public relations dept. Bob and Carlos are not related but Carlos was curious to see if there was some kind of link because of the kinda rare surname, he did some checking and nothing popped up
