Lakers Planning Individual Workouts with: Joakim, Dwight, Mo Speights and Gortat

Sources: Lakers planning individual workouts to evaluate centers Joakim Noah, Dwight Howard and Mo Speights this week in Los Angeles. Another consideration currently overseas: Marcin Gortat. Lakers want a window into physical condition and mindset of a potential addition.

Noah has the best mindset of the guys... the dude is relentlessly competitive and his provides the best all around game: IQ, passing, rebounding, etc. Dwight still like to camp down low and just wait to get fed easy baskets and can defend, huge headache though. Speights is a C who can shoot but not defend and has also had experience with Frank Vogel (who is a huge fan).

I mean he did pick up 2 of the 3 best catch and shoot players in 2018 season and a 40% 3pt shooter in Daniels + Bradley (38%).

Multiple reports say Magic was the reason why Lopez didn't stay. Pelinka wanted a lot of different things than Magic (i.E - Lopez and getting Mitchell Robinson)

Give me Joakim Noah. I remember a Memphis-Lakers game from last season where Noah straight up kicked our asses, collectively as players and fans :oldlol:


If he wants to come, I'm coppin a jersey. Once of my favorite players.

A lot of great talent for cheap.

See nothing wrong to consider the options.

I'd take Gortat over Dwight any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
