Yea I been to places like that too.. but thats usually for gyms that only got 1 court. My school has 4 (1 usually for volleyball though) so its never like that.
I like 15 by 1s and 2s. Win by two.. thats my style.

Yeah, but it keeps 'em moving and it weeds out the bad teams quickly. Plus, @ the places I hoop ... there is always a ton of people waiting. It makes sense, dude.

That poster probably hates it cause he'll step on the court and have to sit back down before he even gets a chance to "get into rhythm" :roll:
Doesn't matter for me though, up to 7, 5, 1, whatever, I'm always the one staying on the court, so its all good
Here are a few, including some that others have mentioned:
Horsing a guy = doing work inside and banging bodies on the boards or in the post
Cookies = picking a guy's pocket
Send that/Sent = swatting a shot
Piece/Pieced = partially blocking a shot, usually a jumper
Wet = when a shot goes in all net (or no rim, depending on where you're playing :) )
You got done = you got done
Sometimes used: "scraped" or "broke you off" on a nice crossover or any time you shake someone. I still occasionally hear "yolk/yoke" (sp?) as in "he yoked it on him" when a guy jams in another guy's face.
I play in Brooklyn and NYC, primarily. Occasionally on the Jersey shore.
