Is this how a championship contender behaves? (https://share.newsbreak.com/8jnpw0pk)

Embiid should demand a trade. Even if this story is complete BS or a ploy to get Philadelphia to pay for a new arena. Just for threatening to move to Jersey or making him think about living in Jersey... he should leave. Embiid for Gobert and Towns. Make the money match and get it done.

It's not like they are leaving the area. it would just be a move across the river. they would still be the Philadelphia 76ers.

Based out of Jersey? They can act like it's not a big deal but they would be leaving the state. And don't underestimate traffic when discussing travel to a game in the tri-state area. New Jersey is a garbage state with an economy based on toll booths. Foolishly loyal Sixer fans would be spending an extra 20 bucks a night just to get there thanks to EZ pass not to mention the time they would waste getting there, wouldn't be shocked at all if it meant an extra hour of driving over the whole night. Or worse.

The Giants & Jets have played in New Jersey for decades, and they still sell out despite being garbage for the last decade. I think you're kind of making a mountain out of a molehill on this one. Besides, who else are Philly fans gonna turn to, the Wizards lol

No one would think any team would ever abandon NYC. Philly doesn't have that kind of confidence.

Part of the fun of being a New Jersey basketball fan was being able to pick between the Sixers, Knicks, and Nets. Though it often felt like picking between diarrhea, mad cows disease, and autism...but still you had the choice.

The New Jersey 76ers....gross

When it comes down to it, Philly and Camden are both crappy towns. I doubt it matters much to the players. Most of them probably wouldn't even need to move.

If it happens it is not till the 2030's. Embiid will be retired and never play in that arena.

Pretty lame by Josh Harris. He is a true asshole. I don't think it will happen tho. The city and state will give in to his demands most likely.
