..for his career?
I've watched Wemby in the olympics and the truth to me is that for all his 7'5'' height, his best quality is actually his passing.
He is actually impressive as a passer and sees the game very well.
As for the rest, not really, inefficient from outside, inefficient from inside.
I think Wemby should look to play a similar role to Nikola Jokic, high post playmaker.

Its one of the First things that stood out to me in the first few games of his career, but I would say his defense is his greatest aspect, even though he’s going to be one of the better passing of his time and will probably be scoring 25 a game this season years from his prime. Which is all pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, when we think about all the advantages extreme height creates we dont really think about passing, but having that higher vantage point really does create better passing angles in a lot of ways. Which is why I think bigger guards/ball handlers have become more prominent, especially in the spacing era where you need to throw passes farther distances. But the same concept applies to a 7'3 center, being able to see down on everyone really opens up your field of vision and avenues for ball delivery. It's good to see Yama maximizing that.
That said, if hes the future GOAT that many have already proclaimed him, he cant just be a defender and passer. He's gotta start dominating the whole game. And soon. Which is not something I personally see coming, I frankly dont see what he's going to do that healthy Porzingis doesnt do. Which is still a very high level based on what weve seen when KP is healthy and in a system that works for him. But Porzingis isnt even All-NBA, let alone the future GOAT. I'm not sure what Yama is going to add on top of the KP profile that will elevate him to GOAT, as rrr3 has already insisted will be the case.
We'll see.

Yes, he needs to figure out who he is going to be as a player.
I'd like him to try to become a Kareem like player. Learn one or two unstoppable low post moves. Then be a great passer. Then he could be the goat.
He had a play in last game, posting up, then taking two steps and just dunking and it was mad.
