So it's mathematical fact that poor road records (not league-wide cheating among record-keepers) accounted for stats being inflated at home in previous eras for all players...Otoh, the one-offs of massive inflation seen by 90' Hakeem, 88' Jordan or 86' Alvin Robertson could be due to any number of factors, such as personal reasons that affected their home/road performance in that particular year.. But the tougher road conditions and crappier road records is the reason for the "normal" levels of inflation that all players had at home.
