There would be no greater compliment to the Celtics but I don't think it happens. We will see.

Nope, it hasn't happened in 55 years. I'll believe it when I see it.

He wasn't the best player in game 1 but sure. Hilarious how Trump fans are so in love with Doncic. I wonder why.

he's not having a transcendent or particularly memorable series

why would they do that?

At this rate, he's more likely to set the record for turnovers in the Finals than win FMVP.

If Luka deserved FMVP......

this was the game.

He was on course for 50 pts game the way how open court offense is played these days...

You score 23 at half. You end up with 31. You dont deserve FMVP.

Luka got extra day break rest btw game 1 and game 2.

I am not sure if he is making celtics defense look Elite.

Bostons entire offense tonight was generated on burning Luka on defense. I don’t think he deserves fmvp

He's been the best player in the Finals so far, but that doesn't necessarily earn you FMVP; otherwise, Jerry West would probably have the most all time. As great as his performance has been, it's not historical enough yet to even warrant consideration for the award in a losing effort.

Maybe he can make it a serious discussion if he keeps the series competitive while being faraway the best player on the floor. If they get (gentleman-)swept—which, I'm hoping I'm wrong, seems plausible enough atm—it's completely off the table regardless of his level of play.

Warriors attacked Lebron a lot in the 2017 & 18 Finals and he got cooked & you were saying he deserved FMVP.

A lot is a bit of a stretch.

possible - but I have stated numerous times Brown is the Celtics best player , and it is showing up in the championship series.

Tatum is a hero baller.
