I shouldn’t be one to judge because I could never do it but how many of these statues don’t look anything like them?

Going to be 3 statues in different parts of the Staples (not Crypto) Center. One with just #8, another with #24 (guessing the post-championship pose after Kobe gets on the scorers table), and the one I posted above with Kobe/Gianna.

I came in here just k owing the Lakers would have a beautiful statue.

How many people along the lines from concept to complete had to just pretend it looked right because everyone else did for us to arrive here?

Its a great concept acknowledging Gigi with him but ****….

The Kobe arm/finger up statue looks pretty good. It's awful lighting in that unveiling environment.

It was nice watching it last night, I have to say I was surprised to not see Shaq anywhere when I could pick out a few role players like Pargo and Sasha.

Yeah I agree with Wardell, the unveiled statue looks great, the one in OP not so much. But really, it's what it represents that matters, not so much what it looks like... that said I think the one with his daughter is the better of the two. As a father it still saddens me every time I see images of those two together.
