He's a rookie bruh.. There's more to rebounding than just length. He's also playing 30 mpg so not quite there yet minutes-wise either.

He's 16th in the league in rebounds per game while ranking 4th in DRB% and 14th in TRB%. One thing that hinders his rebounding numbers is that he plays on the perimeter quite a bit, so there's less opportunities for offensive rebounds compared to some other top rebounding big men in the league. Defensive rebounding numbers tell us that he's as good of a rebounder as anyone in the NBA & he's doing this at 19.

I'm kind of becoming a fan of Wemby, I think he is a smart guy and does his best to fit into a team. Seems like a fast learner too.

It's exciting to watch him block Giannis on one side and then run the floor on the break. That's his game, that should be his bread and butter.

It's difficult to project how he'll turn out because how much the Spurs suck, allegedly on purpose. I'd like to see him play with a true point guard.
