What other NBA owner has made Suns game free to watch on local TV AND given away free antennas in case you don't have access to a local channel? :applause:

In a 10-month span of ownership, Mat Ishbia has:

— Traded for Kevin Durant
— Hired Frank Vogel
— Traded for Bradley Beal
— Signed multiple key Free Agents
— Brought a G-League team back to PHX
— Committed to inducting Shawn Marion and Amar’e Stoudemire in the Suns Ring of Honor
— Made watching Suns games FREE and is giving away FREE TV antennas to fans who don't already have a paid TV subscription to watch Suns games

Good move. I remember watching laker games on KCAL 9 in the 90s and 00s.

That's the way it should be. Fans should be able to watch the games of the local teams for free.

People still use antennas?

Why doesn’t he give everyone free wifi and a fire stick with a Suns app?

I don't really like Kevin Durant, but consider me a Suns fan now.

Nice

Laker and Clipper games were telecasted on local tv up until, like, 10 years ago. The production was actually higher quality :lol

Do you realize how incredibly more expensive it would be to do that vs. handing out something that has a one time (retail) cost of ~$20 (his wholesale cost is probably at minimum 50% of what it would retail for).

I don't watch TV at all any longer but you can get high definition out of any major metro area with an antenna and pretty far at that with a nice enough antenna, depending on your proximity. ABC/Fox/NBC/CBS + whatever other randos are present. Assuming more in NY and LA than any other areas but wouldn't know.

It makes less sense than ever to have a cable subscription, which is rapidly dying off anyways. And I've never been impressed with the restrictions and or quality on products being pushed through TV / amazon based apps in comparison to the local broadcasts through an antenna.
