Happy for him. The original asking price of 30mil was ridiculous but wizards see something in him. From a purely basketball standpoint I would have loved to seen the kings sign him.

It’s a good team friendly deal. It’s cost is right around being an ideal trade asset if wiz go that route.

Will be interesting to see how Wizards fans react on this.

Seems like he'll be the new face of the franchise now with kp and bb gone.

Kuzma has actually been fairly popular among wizards fans, but the consensus was that we would let him walk.Upbeat guy who plays hard, just tries to do too much at times. Gotta pay someone to reach the salary floor I guess.

It's an overpay but not a huge one and would surely be tradable. Reactions are mixed among fans. Not a big issue for me he seems like a good guy and this rebuild is going to take awhile.

I think having Kuzma is clearly better than not having him...I'd just want to absorb bad salary for picks at the deadline this year. Tyus/Poole/Kuzma....it isn't great, but it also isn't nothing...I'd worry they win a little too much. Tyus is a really good player imo.

Kuz deserves it.. wizards will probably still win the same amount of games, Beal was never healthy or made much difference anyway..

Kuzma is a great player to tank with. Decent numbers with zero impact. Kudos to the Wiz for recognizing this.

Great trade asset. Don't worry Kuz we'll get you to a better situation within a year or two.

We might as well call him Kyle Future First from a West Coast Playoff Team

He's gone from having to push a teammate to play defense to cashing out. Good for him.
