Per 36 he's doing 20-8-3-1-1 on Shaq like efficiency.

Yes. He's literally a role player. What else could anyone describe him as?

Glad it's working out for him in Denver.

he's in that in between range of not an all star but not a role player. someone who's really good and can be your 3rd guy on a title team if you have a good top 2. unless you have prime shaq/kobe you need those guys.

I don't think anyone questioned him being a role player before this season :lol

Yes.

Transitioning into somewhat of a semi-star though.

New Blake Griffin lol

He's an above-average role player and a borderline all-star. It's amazing how insanely efficient he is now compared to his Magic days.

Just 3 years ago he was shooting 52%TS, today he's at 65%TS.

A combination of him developing his game and being in the right system with a really talented group of players :applause:

Combination of going from one of the worst run offenses in the league to one of the best, and the fact that he's 27 which is around the age most players start to peak.

please. many players have rounded into somewhat of a peak at that age, but Gordon has completely turned around his value.

His skillset is not that of an All-Star. A lot of his offense comes from playing off-ball next to an ATG passer like Jokic. The 3s have been falling nicely this season but his biggest improvement is the FG% & volume at the rim + the number of assisted 2pt FGAs (from ~50% to above 60%). He can shoot off the dribble but wasn't efficient enough at it on bad teams to be an All-Star.

Yes he's an above average role player. Good defender who requires teammates to set him up offensively.

No he doesn’t but sometimes those guys can be really valuable on title teams and have the impact of an all star. Draymond on the warriors is the bestexample. If he was just another score first guy, denver would have a too many cooks in the kitchen problem and you don’t need that many great offensive players when you have jokic, you need defense high iq etc. Gordon has perfected playing off jokic.

100% dude didn't move the needle in orlando. Playing with an MVP and for an organization that isn't run by literally retarded people helps allot
