No...legacy really doesn't change after a season or two especially in a small market.

This is his first team that isn’t competitive. They won 47, 48, 32, 32, and 34 the last 5 years. And now the are obviously tanking. There’s no shame in any of those teams performances. Doug McDermott might be the most instantly recognizable name on the Spurs roster right now. You don’t look bad losing with a team built for losing and development. Nobody is gonna care what the 23 Spurs won.
