Did Lebron have anything like this on that run?

For Lebron, I don't see the skill and ability to hop-step like that super-quick off 2 feet and then of course the shot itself that Lebron's baby hands of stone and drop-like-a-rock/heavy/no hang-time could never convert

It's also funny that the oddsmakers made Lebron's super-team an underdog to Westbrick because Lebron had burned oddsmakers the previous 3 years (lost as favorite from 09-11').. Oddsmakers weren't going to be burned by the choking Lebron for a 4th straight year

Lebron could have been an 8x nba champion. 2011 he choked against Dallas, 2015 Kyrie and Love injured, 2017 and 2018 Kevin Durant formed a super team with the Warriors.

That’s not a could be that makes sense. He had the opportunity in those scenarios and lost.

totally mismatched in 2017 and 2018. I think only the 1987 lakers and 1986 celtics can beat those Warriors team. The warriors are like if Hakeem and Karl malone teamed up in the 1990's with Reggie Miller, and Rodman as their shooting guard and small forward

2018 beats 2012 easily.

Skill wise? Yes.

As an overall player? No.

2009 to 2014 LeBron is at his absolute peak athletically, and specifically 2011, 2012, and 2013, he was actually a quality defender. Those are the only three seasons in his career where he was an elite defender.

But that was because he had so much absurd help talent wise on that Miami roster, that he could exert more effort and energy on that end. And he was also at his peak athletically.

But in terms of offensive skill set, 2018, he never looked more polished. That was the best I’ve ever seen his footwork look, his fluidity of movement, less robotic and herky-jerky, and his jumper was wet.

It’s weird, he’s had various seasons where he could shoot, and other seasons where he was broke as hell. No other all-time great player had such fluctuation in my memory, from season to season, on how his jumper was going to go.

I think it’s because he primarily focuses his time away from the game on his body, and not necessarily being in the gym working on his skill set. You can tell the seasons where he was actually putting in effort basketball wise, not just on his physique, in the gym.
