The 2020-21 season was the most difficult season to repeat winning a championship in history, with by far the shortest period of rest ever between two seasons of any US sport, and especially basketball:

Of the 4 conference finalists in 2020, only one advanced past the 1st round in 2021, where they got swept in the 2nd round.

The most difficult repeat that did take place however was in 2012-13, when the Heat repeated as champions with LeBron James repeating as the Finals MVP, after a physically exhausting, compressed 2011-12 season with 1.85 days of rest between games (compared to 2.0 days of rest during a normal season).

Remarkable accomplishment. :applause:

Lakers very likely win in 2021 if they just stayed healthy so I have no idea why they felt the need to blow up the team. LeGod always having to deal with all time bad GMs :facepalm

Thanks for using ‘lakers’ instead of ‘lebron’. Player fans need to get on board with the simple idea that basketball is a team game.

Is that why he scraped into the playoffs via play-in and then proceeded to be embarrassed by Booker?

Embarrassed so badly that you've been melting down every day ever since?

Sick summer you're having, virgin

Bronstain's mental gymnastics is like participating in actual gymnastics while sitting in wheelchair

LeBron is not even done. He will have 7 rings by the time he retires.

that would only make winning harder since the competition would be well rested for the playoffs. so that's like a 2peat+.

No in this league. He'll win back to back with AD and Kyrie and then win one more in his final years before retiring.

jordon's threepeats:

-threepeat first round exit with a 1-9 record prior to having The Great Scott Pippen
-threepeat loss to the Pistons prior to The Great Scott Pippen entering his prime

He threepeats, all right.

And destroyed him as well.

Paul Pierce destroyed him soo bad as well as Steph as well as Kawhi that Lebron had to switch teams constantly.
