Do you think the Sonics were robbed by the Refs of making it to the finals in 1993

In that game seven they lost to the Suns.

The Suns were given over 64 free throws and only won by 13.


I can not imagine the reaction people would have nowadays if a team was given 64 free throws in a game seven of all things.


The sonics got flat-out robbed by the Refs as all of their stars were put in foul trouble.

The stupid thing is people think free throws are simply “given” to begin with are aren’t an issue of how you play. Kj and Barkley both drew tremendous numbers of fouls through their attacking styles. KJ set a 5 or 6 game record at one point before Barkley got there. Hard to defend guys who try to live in the paint and play physical get fouled a lot. They weren’t going to the line all the time playing like bitches.

Still despite that you would think in a game seven that decides who goes to the finals that the Refs would put away the whistle and allow everyone to play physical.

So they should decide the game the other way by allowing way more play changing fouls to go uncalled in favor of Seattle?
