Is this a record? I don't remember ever seeing anyone playing significant minutes score the same amount in that many consecutive games.

What do you mean, a record? It's usual for players that win the scoring title to have lots of consecutive games scoring +30. For example, Kobe scored 40 for 12 consecutive games in the 2002-03 season. If that's the record you are talking about, it is done multiple times each season by players whose main asset is getting to the bucket. I am not sure if that is the record you are talking about.

No i think hes talking about scoring exactly 31 for 5 consecutive but it didnt happen

He is 7 games away from breaking the NBA record for most consecutive road games scoring 30+.
Still a way to go but something to watch.

I'm talking about scoring exactly the same amount.
Joel scored exactly 31 pts in 5 consecutive games from Jan 3 - Jan 12.
I don't recall ever seeing this before.
