With only one teammate in double figures (Pippen) everyone in nba history needed multiple pippens or an equal scoring partner.

This is similar to the "Finals comp" argument - Lebron's preseason favorites were expected to win (2011-2016), but fell to underdog or loser every year, so the Finals comp" argument weaponizes losing and having weaker teams than expected (falling from preseason favorite to underdog or loser)

Kobe's 2003 Lakers were preseason favs and didnt even make the Finals.

2004 Kobe preseason favorite lost in the biggest upset in Finals history.

2005 Kobe preseason tied for 2nd favorite... misses the playoffs completely.

Idk what confused you so much about what I said, it has nothing to do with the "Finals comp" argument.

If player A scored double figures and won a finals with his only teammate scoring double figures being player B, then it's an absolute fact that player B won a finals with his only teammate scoring double figures being player A.

With only one teammate in double figures (Pippen) everyone in nba history needed multiple pippens or an equal scoring partner.

Horace Grant averaged double figures in both the regular season and playoffs in 90-91, 91-92, 92-93

Toni Kukoc averages double figures in the regular season and playoffs in 95-96, 96-97, 97-98

Luc Longley averages double figures in the 97-98 regular season

Add BJ Armstrong to this list as well

Everyone in history needed equal-scoring partners to attract equal defensive attention for numerous playoff runs and Finals, so they didn't always face maximum defensive attention - any period without facing maximum defensive attention is inflated stats compared to Jordan, who always faced maximum defensive attention by carrying the scoring load in every SERIES, let alone playoff run.

Don't listen to the haters OP - ultimately, you're correct - pippen is the only sidekick in history that was always carried in every series or playoff run (never an equal-scoring partner, aka 1b), while also having the lowest peak capability of any notable sidekick and this includes scoring, passing, efficiency, wins (22/5 and 55 wins with woat westbrick efficiency)..

Ultimately, the Bulls are the only team in history that won more than 2 Finals without a sidekick getting FMVP or 25 ppg - so Jordan won 3 times as many Finals with a low-producing sidekick as anyone else..

Lebron needs multiple pip's that have higher production rate, aka PER, BPM, WS/48, peak VORP

Or he needs a "jordan" like AD to out-produce him all year long

Lebron never won without super-teams as the clear-cut top producer.. He infact lacks the ability to carry teams and needs equal-scoring partners because he can't "pop off" every game (lacks elite jumpshooting skill)

How many rings for Phil without MJ or his clone (kobe)?

waiting..

The triangle was a nice little scheme that put role players in optimal spots but it still needed a bailout on 10-20% of possessions and it had to be a non-ball-dominant bailout

Accordingly, the little scheme didn't win a thing for 50 years until it met the goat bailout artists it required to win - then it won 11 chips in 18 years.. Jordan infact invented the quick bailout footwork that every clutch player has used since to win chips (now called "midrange game").. guys like dirk, kobe, kawhi, kd, pierce and booker all use mj's "midrange game", with kobe being the valedictorian of the mj school
