can we draw parallels between Iverson Pistons stint and Westbrook Lakers stint?

Watching Russell Westbrook with the Lakers is like that year when Allen Iverson was playing with the Pistons.

The problem with late Iverson is that he wanted to be the man/starter or not play in the league at all.
Westbrook is in a situation where he is still a starter who gets to take 20 shots in a game. We won't get to know the parallel between him and Pistons/Grizzlies Iverson until the Lakers/Westbrook's next team bench him, as they obviously should, and see how he reacts to such a role.
