Okay, as some of you may know, the circus comes to Chicago at the beginning of every season and the Bulls have to play an insane road trip that makes them look mediocre as hell.

Then the media runs out in full force and blasts them for being such a letdown.

Then their schedule evens out and they win about 50 games and that's that.

So... if we all could... not jump to conclusions after 25 games regarding the Bulls.

I hope this was all worth a thread, because it will be fun watching people flip out yet again, for no real reason.

But, 25 games is a part of the season, and you still have to play 41 road games in a season, so it isn't much of an excuse. And most likely, when they start going on a run late in the season, everyone will be hopping on the bandwagon once again.

East is going to be fun to watch this year for once. The playoff race is going to be good, a lot of teams improving.

No order.

Bulls
Detroit
Cleveland
Washington
Toronto
New Jersey
New York
Milwaukee
Boston
Bobcats
Orlando
Miami

What about the "new-look" Pacers.

so it isn't much of an excuse

I'm not talking excuses.

I'm talking history repeating itself.

Which always happens over and over again.

Interestingly enough, teams records are worse on the road.:sleeping

It's amazing how people can so consistently ignore information that's been there for years and continues to prove certain trends to be true.

I know.. and it will happen again when the Bulls are about 11W-12L this season.

So now we'll have the Noah bashers as well this year. Can't wait for the season to start.

I expect them to have a better start to the season next year.

Well, the reason why Bulls was struggling during the beginning of last season is that they had to play much more road games than home games. Besides, the team was still exploiting for new ways to play with the arrival of Ben Wallace. I think they have the ability to win much more at the beginning of this season and finish the regular season with more than 50 wins, if they ain't bothered by disastrous injuries.

Bulls should do better this season in the beginning because they have a more balanced team right now. Actually several of the games they lost in last years road trip were by 3 points or less. Hopefully they'll find out how to finish off those games this time around. My prediction for wins this season for the Bulls is 54.

I don't see them struggling like years past for various reasons. One is that this unit has been together for quite sometime now, so they know how to play together. Second, they haven't brought in any other players who would temporarily disrupt the current offensive chemistry they have. For instance, if they had gotten someone like Gasol during the offseason and inserted him into the starting lineup by game 1 of the new season, then they would have a bigger propensity to struggle. All they need is a few preseason games to get back to normal and they'll be fine. You won't see any 2 of 8-like road records this time around.
