It feels like the lakers banked on lebron losing oncourt impact by year 3 or 4. They got a 27 year old AD who should he a top 5 player.

They traded away guys who they felt were maxed out talent wise and thought AD could carry the team and also be a huge piece to recruit the next LA type player to come.

AD is showing he's not a guy who can galvanize a team or be super reliable. Hes great 1b option.

Blame for this bad start did goes to Lebron because he picked his frienemies that have become friends over young 25 26 year old guys who can play hard and impact the game.

Lakers need to give monk and THT more burn and develop them.
