Kawhi in 2016 and Bird in 1986 had the greatest home record seasons in NBA history at 40-1

Minor difference between the Celtics went undefeated at home in the playoffs, while the Spurs lost more home games in one series than they did the entire regular season.

game 5 vs thunder kawhi outplayed durant and they still lost because westbrook.

game 2 aldridge went full retard and didn't give the ball to kawhi enough

just shows spurs were overachievers because kawhi, they were not a better team then prime Westbrook\Durant no way.

anyways, this is a reg season thread. You want to talk playoffs? compare kawhi's 2019 to any bird's playoff run and i will put my money on kawhi.

Durant took a huge dump on Kawhi the Spurs everytime they played in the playoffs.

1984 Bird > 2019 Kawhi. Averaged more assists, rebounds, steals and blocks, his 2nd option averaged less ppg than Siakam, and he beat an ATG team in the Finals that was actually healthy, not ravaged by injuries.

Kawhi made the game winning block that game. Led the series in minutes for the spurs as well.
