He didn't even lift weights his first few years in the league. He was just naturally better than everyone and wasn't injury prone. No reason to take PEDs.

Body bagged.
Anyone saying 0 is irrationally afraid of having their childhood ruined.

Bobby Knight called MJ the best player he ever seen when he was a skinny 20 year old. In the 80s MJ was thin and dropping monster seasons. He didn't need to rely on PEDs unless you think he was on some lance Armstrong blood doping shit for endurance but I still don't think so. League was filled with coke heads when he came into it, I think his natural work ethic and talent just allowed him to supersede everybody. In the (late) 90s he dominated with his midrange jumper not sure what PEDs do for that. Guys like Wilt, Giannis and LeBron are probably the three most obvious juicers. Wilt used to hang out with the body building scene in the 70s.

First half of his career 0. 2nd half 10. Safer treatments than steroids were developed towards the latter half of his career.
What's odd is a lot of this stuff became public news; like Kobe flying to Germany for stem cell treatment and LeBron having all sorts of smoke with HGH around him, yet fans still want to deny the reality that their favorite player is/was getting the most cutting edge medical/healing/training/recovery treatments money can afford them. They'd be giving up a competitive edge otherwise, so very difficult to abstain.
It'll be interesting to discover what the long term health effects of chronic growth hormone treatments are. Acromegaly is caused by a pituitary tumor that secretes gh. Long term effects of that are pretty brutal especially with regards to cardiovascular health and arthritis so I'm curious if there have been developments to mitigate that damage somehow.
