overly simplified example of this:
Player A's guaranteed salary 10M/year for four years gets bumped up by 5M/year with each increment of 5% improvement in 2-point field goals (non-dunks). Team based incentives could be made as well, 2M/year bonus for season with 50 wins
This is the way the NBA should be trending... not just have dumbass teams like Philly throw out contracts to Horford and Ben just to make themselves look incompetent in hindsight. Overall, this would significantly improve the quality of the game because of the added incentives.
The Cap would easily be figured out since it's a soft-cap anyways...
