View Full Version : Is Theo Ratliff essentially the best back-up center on a team that didn't win?

As misleading as this might look, and I do think Iverson is one of those superstars with the least amount of help that got that far, and I do think Mutombo would start instead of Ratliff, I can't think of too many comparably skilled back-up centers on teams that didn't win like Ratliff was with the 2001 Sixers, for example

You think Theo Ratliff played with Mutombo on Philly?

Theo was traded for Mutombo after Brown fell for Mutombo at the 01 all star game Ratliff was injured in.

Wasn't McAdoo a back up for a Lakers team in 84?

Mutombo was their best player in the playoffs so weird take.
