Seems like they aren't playing up to their capabilities and have started looking outward instead of correcting the core issues imo. They are missing two of their top players and often playing sloppy. How is Tucker going to make a significant difference? Who's going? Even though Tucker seems like a great team mate, further changing the team chemistry is playing with fire. Their shooting slump won't last forever. Same thing happened last season.

He certainly can't be worse than what Markieff Morris offered against the Nets and the Heat. Mainly because it's not humanely possible to be worse than Morris against the Nets and the Heat, but still.
They should see what happens with the Blake Griffin buyout situation first though.

League is rigged if stacked Lakers get more good players.

Tucker is a great defender (All-Defensive caliber) and Anthony Davis is not going to be available for a month (maybe longer). Losing AD's defense is a core issue.

And when AD comes back, if you think about a defensive trio like AD, LeBron and Tucker for the playoffs, that's formidable.

If they are only concerned about the playoffs this season, sure. He's 35 though. Who has to leave? Not sure what they are even looking for long term at this stage.
