2021 - 41.2% on 6.6 3pa
2013 - 40.6% on 3.3 3pa
2014 - 37.9% on 4.0 3pa
2017 - 36.3% on 4.6 3pa

The only exception is when he Goated all of 2018 - 36.7% on 5.0 3pa

Seems that Lebron's mental state/confidence really does have an effect on his shooting. He definitely plays more loose/freely the season after winning chips so it makes sense his shooting gets a little better.

Robin Lopez is shooting 40% from 3 this year. Any donkey can learn to shoot 3s if they focus on it.

So lebron isn't a good shooter and simply rides the confidence boost he gets from winning the chip?

This also means that the "hot hand" (based on intangible things like confidence and optimism) is real..

Indeed, teams have fluctuating confidence and energy throughout a game.. consequently, lebron's weak shooting and ball-dominance doesn't shift defenses/wear down teams like the shooting and ball movement he faces on the championship level, so opponents are always fresher with more capacity to go off offensively (see the 14' Finals)

Look at the shooting percentages of the other players on the Lakers... like Alex Caruso and KCP... even Kyle Kuzma... nearly everyone is shooting well.

Yeah they look like repeat champions, with confidence, bounce and vigor.
