If you're the general manager of the Lakers during that time.

You want shorter career, better basketball and more rings. Kobe.

You want long career, boring basketball, lots of stats and media attention. Less rings.

Lebron.

Why would you hire lebron when you know he would collude in another team and leave your franchise? Kobe stayed through thick and thin. That is priceless.

With lebron, at the end of the day, he will have many finals but through other teams. Finding where the next collusion/recruitment can be done.

Absolutely. At age 25 Kobe was in peak life crisis. His value was decreasing fast for on-court and off-court reasons.

I think the Lakers would've done it if they could but Cleveland was never going to give up that pick.

You better behave kid.

My bad. Just realized it was a very poor choice of words. I changed it.

Lefraud isn't even a top 50 all-time player. He had a poor playoff record against elite Eastern conference teams prior to switching teams. With team hopping he has a poor finals record.

He's product of NBA rigging games by forcing teams to play worse defense on him and his teammates and allowing him to switch teams so he can have teams that are more talented than Olympic and All-Star team combined.
