The Pelicans have...

They are not going to win with the group they have. They should trade BI to unlock Zion.

So take away another perimeter 20+ scorer to unlock a guy who has taken three shots this season outside of the paint?

zion is not unlockable unless he develops a jumper

you can't play a PF that cant shoot a lick in today's league and you can't play him at center because he is a short tweener

34 NBA games @20yo

22, 9, 2 on 55%

as the 2nd opt

:kobe:

SVG needs to start running the offense through Z, Ingraham ball is counter productive to winning.

Team barely has a better winning percentage with Zion than without over a similar number of games.

Theres something about the team culture, just look at the Timberwolves and Kings as they are like rebuilding forever.

Ingram should be scoring more than 2 points in the second half if he is as good as you seem to think he is.

i find it hilarious how everyone from the young core managed to get paid even though none of them play winning basketball

Lonzo is about to get overpaid too. Watch some desperate team with cap space give him 18-22 mil per.

Sure, but you don't think the inefficiency, lack of playmaking and poor spacing in the second half didn't have anything to do with that? Defenses have to worry about Zion and Ingram. They don't worry too much about anyone else, except maybe Redick getting easy looks from three.

I don't see who would do that which is why it will be the Knicks.

Bledsoe and Ball shouldn't be taking 27 shots.

Lonzo is currently shooting 39/28.6/58 with a 9.3 PER. Him, Zion, and Adams are a spacing nightmare for the starting 5.

My Pelicans will get it together. New Coach in Stan Van Gundy, and an overly talented YOUNG core with Brandon, and Zion as team captains. Give them about 30 games, they'll get some rhythm, and chemistry.

Very true. The Pelicans spacing is HORRIBLE! No ball movement, lack of playmaking, but most important no movement without the ball. They need to trade Lonzo Ballz, and get a real point guard.

Or they can wait 30 games before they start to panic.

The poor spacing on offense has nothing to do with the G League Wolves cooking then at the other end. Team has no heart and no leadership.

Van Grumpy is about 20 years past his prime. Dude walks around like he’s trying to hide the ball under his shirt.

it's fun ripping on the lakers young prospects, no other towny fans are more irrational in all of sports. i have a couple pen pals in San Bernadino and Bakersfield who are still upset that they won't get a pick this year because of Davis. all they do is hype Taylor Horton Tucker and complain he doesn't get more minutes

Zion is a poor mans Barkley... shit, Barkley had a money midrange game and this guy makes Giannis look like Ray Allen. Just another bowling ball player shouldve been a full back.

As an NBA superstar he is going to earn half a billion by the time he's 35. In the NFL he may be good as a TE or DE...fullback he m8ght not even fine a team to play for. He picked the right sport.

Yea money wise sure. It gets old seeing supposed superstars who can't even shoot a basketball. Offensive fouling your way to the hoop every play isn't basketball.

This is a great question. The origins of da yung core can be traced back to Julius Randle/Jordan Clarkson. However, when I refer to da yung core in the context of this thread I am mainly referring to the Lakers players that were traded to NO as part of the Davis trade that everyone thought they lost.
