The raptors look like they're a shell of themselves now. It wouldn't be bad to expect siakam to perform at an admirable level, would it?

Unrelated note, how do I make sure the NBA app doesn't switch horizontally? It takes forever to turn back to vertical when I just want to go back. Is there an option for this?

If raptors lose this game, they will be 0-7 when Lowry/Vanvleet/Siakam plays

Hahahaha holy shit the GOAT championship core. I guess how they played in that 2019 76ers series was their true colors after all.

Where were you when we were one game away to be in the conference final, last season? Was Kawhi playing with us? Ah ok!

You realize Ibaka, Green, Kawhi and Gasol are all gone right. They were all starters with that championship team. You are an idiot.

Don't know about the NBA app but if you're using Android there should be an option for it there.

Raptors are 1999 bulls. Vanvleet went from 6th man to best player, just like Kukoc.

Kawhi = Jordan and Pippen
Ibaka/Gasol = Rodman

Last year they were the '94 Bulls, they didn't even have anyone as good as Pippen and still won at a 60 win pace

It's embarrassing the game was as close it was but it's a win, so we move. Some observations

- Steph can't have under 20 point games. Even in situations where others are hot, but this one they needed him. If Steph is average tonight, Warriors win by 20+. The game would have been done in the 3rd, but they started playing better because Steph wasn't shooting well. 2 games under 20 in the first 10 games is unnacceptable with this roster, he should know this. He can't go under 20 in the next 20 games now. Steph better ****ing average 35 in the next 4 games after this bullshit, he owes it to his team.
- Kelly Oubre needs to get his shit together offensively. He's doing well enough on D, but his offensive game has been awful. Fun fact. Warriors are shooting 19th 3P% this season. If you remove Kelly, they rank 4th. That's obscene.

Guy just needs to shoot the averages from last season with less shots, and the team is golden offensively. I still have hope the law of averages will show up with him. For now, keep playing hard D.

+ The team is pulling some 2015-tier elite defense this season after the beginning of the season, props to Kerr and Adams for the work they've put in this season. After those 3 disasters in the first 3 games, teams have scored 106, 123, 122, 106, 108, 105, 105. Those are elite numbers except for the Blazer series. How the season goes depends if the defense can continue this run for the rest of the year.
+ 90% of the pundits were saying Warriors aren't making the playoffs, but I doubt that's the case anymore. If the team remains fit, the question for me is where they will rank.
+ Wiggins was garbage early on, and his shooting is still very hit or miss, but his defense was been.. elite.
+ Bench is putting in work right now, looks far more useful than it did 2 years back.

If this team has any hopes of challenging in some ways in the playoffs, a few things need to happen. Dray needs to hit 10PPG, Kelly 15PPG, and Wigz 20PPG all at least on solid efficiency while the bench and defense maintain their form. No idea if any of this will happen. Can't judge enough out of this team this early, I think we may get some answers after the next 10 games. Started out 2-3, then 6-2. Should be 7-1 but Steph disappointed vs the Clippers in game 1. He needs to play 15-16 type of consistent top end basketball all year.

It was only now that i realized the box score of this game is almost exactly alike of the 2019 finals game 5 which the warriors narrowly won 106-105. Only difference is that this one happened in chase center. Warriors almost choked this game with a poor shooting night from curry but do take note that his 11 points also tallied durant's score, 11 points, in the 2x fmvp shorthanded finals lone game from june 10 of two years ago before succumbing to his achilles back then. Damn, what a weird coincidence.
