View Full Version : I predicted in off-season Lakers would be weakened and rival teams strengthened

I think it was a thread titled "plot to sabotage LeBron will go into effect as soon as he wins 4th championship." In it I predicted teams that could beat Lakers would be made better with off-season signings and trades (Harden trade is still on table) while Lakers would be made weaker by losing good players (they got rid of all their defensive talent).
It's why repeats and 3peats rarely happen in NBA. They make defending champs job much harder (A common pattern is defending champs getting swept in playoffs next season. See 2007 Heat, 2011 Lakers, 2012 Mavericks).

It will be a Cavs-Kings finals.
But if there were no conferences, then the real finals would be either Cavs-Magic, Pacers-Hawks or some other combination of these 4.

Lakers are definitely better, they just need to figure out chemistry with the new guys and they'll be good
Ofc king kong bran will always be held blameless if the lakers fukk up along the way, even if it could truly turn out to be his fault. :oldlol:
