There was once a man named Lebron James, who came from very humble beginnings.
He began his professional basketball career in Cleveland, Ohio at a very young age, only 18 years old. Just four years into his career, he was faced with the task of taking down the mini-dynasty Detroit Pistons, a formidable and experienced bunch. Everyone said "Lebron can't do it! He's too young! His team isnt good enough!" But somehow, Lebron did it.
Then they said, Lebron got to a finals, but he can't win a finals. He can't win a ring. He doesn't have what it takes. But a few years later, Lebron won back to back rings in Miami with a couple washed up stars and an unproven coach, solidifying his place as one of the greatest ever.
And everyone said "Sure, you can win in Miami. But Wade and Bosh have playoff experience. Riley is a great executive. We're not impressed."
So Lebron went back to the most cursed sports city in the country, where none of his major support players had ever done anything in the playoffs, and in 2016 he carried the Cleveland Cavs to their first franchise title.
But everyone said "Well yeah, it's easy to win in the East. But you can't do that in the West."
So then Lebron James went to the broken and battered Los Angeles Lakers of the Western Conference, who hadn't sniffed a playoff spot in 7-8 years. All they had on the roster was a 'yung core' full of garbage. And before long... they Los Angeles Lakers were champions once again.
Guys, the moral of the story is perseverance, and size where it counts. If you have those things, you can accomplish ANYTHING.
