1-9

Most teams made the playoffs in the 80's, so Jordan's 30-40 win teams were forced into the 8 vs 1 matchup..

But only half the teams make it today, so lebron's 30-40 win teams missed the 8 seed in 04/05/19, and therefore the 8 vs 1 matchup against the dynasty Warriors or champion Pistons.. So lebron lucked out and only made the playoffs with developed, high seeds against the 40-win Wizards.

But in a smaller league like the 80's that lets most teams into the playoffs, Lebron's 30-40 win teams from 04/05/19 would've lost by epic amounts as 8 seeds because he was demolished with high seeds - he was upset with 1 seeds in 09/10, and he went 3-16 with 2 seeds in 07', 11', 14, and 17', so that's much worse than Jordan's 1-9 with 8 seeds... And if you want to say "well it's better to make the Finals", then let's talk Finals, aka 6/6.

Ultimately, lebron lucked out and only made the playoffs with developed, high seeds against the crappy Wizards, rather then the 04/05/19 teams against the dynasty warriors or 04' Pistons (the scenario mj faced)

Jordan lost in the 2nd round with an All-NBA 1st team teammate in 1995

LeBron always won the championship with an All-NBA 1st team teammate

Jordan lost with an all-star teammate in 1990 and 1995

LeBron won without an all-star teammate in 2016

Jordan only averaged 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 1998 (Lowest combo of rebounds/assists EVER for a FMVP)

LeBron averaged 10 rebounds and 8 assists for his Finals career

Jordan faced Finals opposition that had a 10ppg 2nd option (Jazz)

Lebrons finals opponents had a 25 ppg 2nd option (Curry)

Lebrons finals opponents had a 25 ppg 2nd option (Curry)

Lebron had a 27 ppg teammate that demolished curry

So lebron had the far better cast then curry's Warriors - Curry's cast was elevated by system/chemistry

Lebron has 30k points and 10k assists

Jordan beat the #2 all-time scorer and the #1 assist guy, WHO WERE ON THE SAME TEAM

1-9 without Pippen. 1 basket away from 0-9 without Pippen.

Too easy.

Most teams made the playoffs in the 80's, so Jordan's 30-40 win teams were forced into the 8 vs 1 matchup against champions..

Otoh, only half the teams make it today, so lebron's 30-40 win teams missed and avoided the 8 seed vs champs matchup that mj faced..

lebron was lucky to only have developed, high seeds in the playoffs and therefore easy 1st round matchups.. But under the same conditions Jordan faced, Lebron's 04/05/19 teams would be 8 seeds and destroyed by the 19' Warriors or 04' Pistons

The 8 seed loss would be massive because his high seed losses were.. He was upset with 1 seeds in 09/10, and he went 3-16 with 2 seeds in 07', 11', 14, and 17' - so that's much worse than Jordan's 1-9 with 8 seeds...
