Why did Mo Williams become an all-star as soon as he joined LeBron in 2008-09, whereas Horace Grant and B.J. Arstrong became all-stars as soon as Jordan left them in 1993-94?

Mo was already a good player before joining lebron, and had better production before lebron, whereas Jordan had to raise Pippen/Grant/BJ from single-digit rookies to korver all-stars by 94'
